CUF 2022 Rapporteur Report
Over the period June 14th – 17th , 2022, the Barbados Town Planning Society serving as the Local Organising Committee collaborated with the Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management (CNULM – blueSpace Caribbean) based at the University of the West Indies St Augustine campus, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to host the Caribbean Urban Forum 2022.
With the fitting theme “Beyond COVID: Recovery – Renewable – Resilience” the conference was the first to be hosted in “hybrid” and attended by over 200 participants, virtually and in person, in Barbados. The linked Rapporteur Report captures the conference.
CUF2021 Rapporteur Report
Annually the Caribbean Urban Forum provides presenters with opportunities to provide update on regional innovation and capacity building. Hosted virtually on the 16th – 18th June, 2021, the focus was to confront the issues of urbanisation in the Caribbean context with a view to critically examine the range of policy responses to this phenomenon.
