CUF 2022 Rapporteur Report

Over the period June 14th – 17th  , 2022, the Barbados Town Planning Society serving as the Local Organising Committee  collaborated with the Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management (CNULM – blueSpace Caribbean) based at the University of the West Indies St Augustine campus, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to host the Caribbean Urban Forum 2022.

With the fitting theme “Beyond COVID: Recovery – Renewable – Resilience” the conference was the first to be hosted in “hybrid” and attended by over 200 participants, virtually and in person, in Barbados. The linked Rapporteur Report captures  the conference.

This project aims to provide support for projects which develop innovations to increase resilience in coastal communities of the Caribbean, as well as strengthen institutions, national and local governments’ ability to leverage information and knowledge for policy amendments.
